The front of the very attractive Needham Village Hall

Village Hall

Needham Coronation Village Hall is a charming and historical building in the South Norfolk village of Needham, just outside of Harleston. It was built in 1873 as the village school and has been operated for the benefit of the local community since the school closed in 1960. (Read about the Hall’s history here.) The Hall is a centre for village events, an honour shared with The Nook recreation area and The Red Lion pub.

The Hall is licensed for music and alcohol and has a WiFi connection. It is well equipped for a full schedule of weekly classes and many parties, gatherings and community events. It is available for hire to anyone. It is also used for wedding receptions – please refer to Hiring.

The building includes the main hall, an annexe, a small Committee Room, the large kitchen and toilets. There is also an attractive grass area around the building and a car park for 20-30 cars on-site with further parking in the road.
