Hall Hire Charges, preserving the hall for all

Needham Village Hall is operated by a charity with the express purpose to support the community. Hire charges made to groups and individuals who wish to use the facilities contribute to the costs of providing the hall. Donations, charitable fund-raising and grants cover the remaining costs and enable the hall to sponsor community events.

Room Hire

Hall rooms are let out on an hourly basis, to include set-up and tidying. The charges include electricity, heating and use of chairs, tables, cutlery, crockery and other hall facilities agreed.

Residents of the Needham Parish and people booking the hall for regular events receive a discount on our standard charges. We also have special rates two-day hires for Receptions and parties.

Charges, as of 1st January 2024, are:

If a hirer only wishes to hire a single room Needham Village Hall reserves the right to hire out the second room to an additional booking.

Table Hire 

Needham Residents may also borrow tables and chairs for their own events off-site when these are not being used for Village Hall activities. There is a separate Terms and Coniditions of Hire for these items. As of 1st July 2025 the charges are:
